Counter (Rear Quarter) Excavation: Removing the counter, Fill With Compressible Foam; Used to Reduce Friction and Pressure, Haglund’s Deformity, Pump Bump, Retrocalcaneal Bursitis

Heel Counter Stabilizer: Firm plastic or leather counter reinforcement added to Counter of Shoe. Reduces frontal plane motion (inversion, eversion); provides increased Control for Foot Orthoses. Used
for Plantar Fasciitis, Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction,
