How does Walking Balance reduce foot pain, even in fashionable, high-heeled shoes?

Walking BalanceĀ® was designed by a woman who loves to wear fashionable shoes, but was unwilling to suffer pain while wearing them. She found that the foot needs support under the arch, reduction of pressure under the ball (metatarsal) area, and a way to prevent the foot from sliding forward towards the front of the shoe, which cramps the toes.

FEATURES:

1) Spring Arch Design

Provides support for the long arch of your foot, which reduces fatigue and helps relieve pressure to the ball of your foot. It also helps prevent your foot from sliding forward in the shoe. You can raise or lower the arch height when you install the velcro tabs in the shoe. Shorten the distance between the two velcro tabs to raise the arch. Increase the distance to lower the arch.

2) Metatarsal Pad

Provides more support behind the ball of the foot to redistribute pressure away from the ball. For maximum effectiveness, adjust your Walking Balance orthotics so that the metatarsal pad is just behind the ball of the foot, even if the back of the orthotic does not extend to the back of the shoe.

3) Halter

Literally halts your foot from sliding into the front of the shoe. It locks your instep and heel back to prevent forward sliding.

4) Thin Profile

This design takes up very little room in the shoe. Walking Balance orthotics are made thin and narrow to take up the least amount of space possible while achieving their biomechanical goals. You will soon get used to the feel of this design.

5) Velcro tabs

Prevent the orthotic from sliding forward in the shoe and can be used to adjust arch height. The velcro tabs also make it easy to install, adjust, and move your Walking Balance orthotics from shoe to shoe. All you need is a set of tabs for each of your dress shoes.

FAQ's

How do I use my Walking BalanceĀ® orthotics?

Walking Balance orthotics are easy to wear and maintain. With any orthotic, it is wise to wear them only a few hours a day for the first 2 or 3 weeks, to allow your feet to adjust. Soon, you'll even forget you are wearing them.

When I try to put anything into my dress shoes it makes the shoe too tight, and my heel lifts out of the shoe. How is Walking Balance different?

1) Walking Balance orthotics are designed to take up as little room in the shoe as possible.

2) The Walking Balance Halter prevents your foot from sliding towards the front of the shoe. Your heel stays back, providing a snug heel fit.

3) The Walking Balance Spring Arch design prevents your arch from flattening and your foot from sliding forward in the shoe.

How do I care for my Walking Balance orthotics?

Walking Balance orthotics can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. They should not be soaked in water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or alcohol. Keep them away from excessive heat and humidity.

How do I know what size to wear and where can I get them?

Walking Balance orthotics come in two sizes: S/M to fit in shoes size 5-71/2 (35 to 38) and M/L to fit in shoes size 8 and above (39 to 42).
